August 28,DJI's Robomasters 2016 Finals came to an end successfully in Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, during the contests, “One Point Five S” of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China won the final champion among 32 robot teams in the fierce confrontation race. The “One Point Five S” was awarded by Mayor Xu Qin with a trophy, a certificate and 20,000 yuan. Professor Rong Yiming at Mechanical and Energy Department of SUSTech was invited to watch the contests, and communicated with Li Zexiang, who is professor at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the founder of Robomasters, and then meet the tour leader Wang Huaquan, who lead “Robot Pilots” of Shenzhen University won the fourth prize. This conversation lays a foundation for the students in SUSTech participating the future RoboMasters contests.
