Today, SUSTech Nanshan Race Team perform their first public argumentation among the whole teachers and students on campus, which is the team's most landmark even since the team officially founded on 18 October, 2015.

The Dean of Shude College Zaiyong Yang, the Minister of Student Affairs Department Zheng Xue, the instructor teacher Jin Wei and the Dean of Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering Yiming Rong and many other students interested in the project participate the argumentation meeting.

The public argumentation mainly focuses on the history of FSAE, the current situation, development, help needed and goals of SUSTech Nanshan Race Team, and the team detailed response to the to question teachers and students proposed. Then SUSTech Nanshan Race Team present letters of appointment, which officially hired Jin Wei, Siming Li and Professor Yiming Rong as advisors of 2016-2017 season. Professor Yiming Rong, who has worked with the team over two months, praise the team members who are not afraid of difficulties, “they all very interested in FSAE, and their efforts and aggressive goals will lead the team as a long-term and characteristics project of SUSTC”, said Professor Yiming Rong. Jin Wei, an experienced teacher in electric drive vehicle and provided the team a lot of help, answers some questions raised by the students and said he is confident in SUSTech Nanshan Race Team. The Dean of Shude College Zaiyong Yang also expresses strong support and confidence for team development, which draw a satisfactory conclusion of the argumentation meeting.
