Dr. Wenjun Lu joined the Department of Mechanical and Energy Engineering at SUStech as an Associate Professor. He received his Ph.D. degree in Imperial College London, UK, in 2015. After graduation, he worked with Prof. Dierk Raabe and Prof. Gerhard Dehm as a PostDoc in Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH (2015-2020) focusing on engineering alloys’ design, manufacturing, mechanical property, multifunction, advanced characterizations (STEM, in-situ technique and correlative microscopy) etc. Dr. Lu has published over 80 peer-reviewed SCI journal papers with citation over 2000, and the H index 26 including 1 Nature Materials, 3 Advanced Materials, 3 Materials Today, 6 Nature Communications, 1 Science Advances, 1 Advanced Functional Materials, 1 Physical Review Letters, 12 Acta Materialia, 6 Scripta Materialia, etc.
