K . Prem Ananth,who holds a PhD in composite nano science and technology from Bharathiar University, Tamilnadu, India.  Having been working on biomedical application oriented composite materials for more than 6 years.  Having hands on experience in the development of reinforced bio ceramic composites coatings on metallic implants for implant applications. The research included the study of in vivo and in vitro and electro chemical behaviour of the bulk and coated biomaterials for biomedical applications. The main research area is Bio ceramics-Polymer composite scaffolds for tissue engineering and Mechanism of cell-biomaterial interactions, manufacturing processes and techniques for additive manufacturing (3D Printing).  Having published 12 international papers and 40 national and international conferences were presented/participated, also he has visited a Laboratory at National University of Singapore, In addition he has Travel support and Oral presentation opportunity for present a paper in the various countries such as Brazil and Nepal. Besides two years of (DST-SERB project) Junior Research Fellow experience and 8 month teaching experience in engineering physics subject.
