Hao Ma received the PhD degree in Mechanical and Automation Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include human motion capture, modeling, and analysis technologies, and rehabilitation robotics. He has published more than 10 peer-reviewed journal and conference papers, and participated into projects of “National Key R&D Program of China”. He led the R&D of several industry-leading products including “high-precision hybrid full-body motion capture system”, “motion capture gloves for virtual reality”, and “wearable motion analysis device for knee joint rehabilitation”, which have wide range of applications in film making, game interaction, virtual reality, sports analysis, and medical rehabilitation.
